When you have a computer problem, you can call The FAR Tech Helpline and speak with knowledgeable analysts who will help you find a quick solution.

FAR’s Tech Helpline experts field hundreds of calls per month. No question is too tough. Go ahead. Ask about Internet Data Exchange (IDX), computer viruses, Top Producer software, and printing to slow-running computers and Internet problems. Just call between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and speak with a “live” analyst.

Technology Training – Real Estate Industry Solutions hands-on training
Courses designed to boost in-house computer skills target the novice as well as the advanced computer user, including hands-on instruction or lectures on popular real estate software packages. MLS Advantage™
The MLSAdvantage service allows participants to have mutual access to available listings in all those MLSs. With a single search you can find all listings that match your search parameters from MLSs across the state. Property information from listings can be auto-populated from MLSAdvantage directly into your contracts in Forms Online Gold and TransactionDesk. This valuable search tool is only available to members of subscribing associations and MLSs, so call your local association today to start saving money.

TransactionDesk™
What if you had the power to easily share and manage a real estate transaction with the client, building inspector, appraiser, lender, contractor—anyone and everyone involved? What if you could do it all online and utilize electronic postmarks and signatures? With TransactionDesk, you can. You also can access all FAR and FAR/BAR contracts and forms for the transaction, or you can add your company’s own forms and contracts. A “Super User” account for brokers and office managers gives you access to all your associates’ TransactionDesk accounts so you can monitor the transactions and even make corrections to the contracts.

It’s available 24/7 on floridarealtors.org. TransactionDesk is powered by Real Estate Industry Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of FAR.


Tax Rolls
Tired of data-mining through multiple county tax rolls to prepare one comparative market analysis?  The tax roll data on floridarealtors.org contains all the property information you want for the entire state. Rather than retyping hundreds of names and addresses for monthly mailings, save hours by simply clicking a few links on the site.

Once in the database, you can do a search by “Address,” “Owner” or “Parcel ID” to find properties in your farm area to which you want to send a mailing. You may also search by “Address” and “Subdivision” to retrieve addresses for all the homes in a target neighborhood. Best of all, you can export this information to Top Producer or print property addresses directly to your mailing labels. Access the free property data.

Internet Data Exchange (IDX)
Give your Web visitors a reason to stay! In the past, visitors to your Web site who wanted to see all of the homes listed for sale in your local market had to leave your site. In all likelihood, they never returned. You can change that trend with Internet Data Exchange (IDX).

FAR provides three IDX solutions free to all members. You control how the data is displayed. And, all listings are translated into almost 30 languages.

The Virtual Customer Management (VCM) module of IDX lets you see what prospects are looking for and contact them with additional or alternative matches. This equals better customers, better customer service, better communications and better business.

Forms Online Gold™
A golden opportunity to have the best forms free and available 24 hours a day! Forms Online Basic gives you access to FAR real estate forms in a printable PDF format. Just click, print and fill them out.

But if you’re seeking maximum flexibility and performance, FAR’s Forms Online Gold service is now found inside the TransactionDesk tool and allows you to complete, store and manage all your real estate forms online. You can input information, print, save, e-mail and duplicate the forms via the Internet. Forms may also be e-mailed for remote viewing in a read-only format, or modified by the recipient without requiring you to ever leave the office. In addition, the system maintains a complete revision history of each contract for future reference.

For brokers, the Forms Online Gold program includes a broker management module that allows you or an office administrator to view, print and manage associates’ forms. In addition, brokers may choose to store their company forms online (a fee-based option) and, at no extra charge, add their logo to each document. Brokers who prefer to operate the Forms Online Gold software exclusively through their own internal network may also do so for an additional fee.

For $49 per year, individual members who prefer to store their forms in-house rather than through the Internet may also do so. Do-Not-Call Compliance
FAR offers DNCQuickcheck, an online tool that enables you to check phone numbers in area codes you’ve purchased through the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well as Florida’s own do-not-call program. The service also provides recordkeeping tools, compliance training and an audit trail to assist companies in meeting federal safe harbor requirements that help protect against penalties if calls are made on the do-not-call list.

The regular monthly subscription rate to DNCQuickcheck is $19.95 per Realtor associate. However, as an FAR member benefit, that fee is waived. Brokers pay a one-time set-up fee of $50 to subscribe their agency. Call PossibleNow at 800.585.4888 or email sales@possiblenow.com for details.
