Market watch
Real estate is vital to Florida’s economy, and FAR’s housing statistics are at the heart of the action.

FAR works in conjunction with local Associations and the University of Florida to show you the vital signs of the real estate markets and of related financial and service industries.

The research includes statistical compilations on market activity and monthly, quarterly and annual reports on closed sales and median sales prices of existing single-family homes sold by Realtors through the Multiple Listing Systems in Florida Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs).

FAR also reports data on closed sales and median sales price of existing condos sold by Realtors in the state’s MSAs.

Even more, FAR often has access to special attitude and opinion surveys that can help the association determine how it can better serve the interests of its current members and attract new members to the organization. For information, call 407.438.1400, ext. 2326.
